Wednesday Wesley Meals are an important part of our Congregational life at First United Methodist Church of Colleyville. Mealtimes provide opportunities for us to get to know one another through fellowship, especially those who worship at different services and go to different Sunday school classes. These meals are a great avenue for inviting friends and neighbors to visit the church for the first time as well. Please come on out and experience our church’s exceptional hospitality!
After the Wesley Meal, small groups of age-appropriate programs offer adults, youth, and children opportunities to grow in faith.
The Wesley Meals and Programs are offered on Wednesday nights during the school year and are served in the Family Life Center from 5:45-6:45 PM. Child-friendly food is always on the menu! The cost is $6 per person with a maximum of $18 per family.
Various groups in the church volunteer to cook Wesley Meals in order to support their program or their mission. When a group volunteers to prepare a Wesley meal, they are agreeing to prepare a meal for 100-125 participants, serve a hot meal for one hour, and leave the kitchen area clean and tidy prior to departure.
Please join us on our journey to discipleship!
