Prayer Ministry
We believe in the power of prayer to change circumstances and lives. Through prayer, we come into the presence of God, who through grace helps us grow in faith. Prayer is more than a ministry. It is life-giving and life-renewing for the one being prayed for and for the one praying

Would you like to request prayers for yourself or someone else? Please contact the church office or one of the pastors by phone, by mail, or by email, and let us know of your need. Requests are shared with the group that gathers on Wednesday mornings for prayer, and a prayer chain responds to requests for prayer 24 hours a day. If you wish, your request will be placed on the prayer list so that all members of our congregation can pray for you.

Wednesday Wesley Dinners
As a service for all of our members, but especially for those involved in Wednesday evening activities, a family style dinner is served each week in the Event Center of the Family Life Building.  The cost is $5 per plate, with a $15 family maximum.  Various groups within the congregation take responsibility for providing the meal each week.

Stephen Ministry
Our church has an active Stephen Ministry.  Stephen Ministers are laypersons who are especially trained and equipped to touch people in a practical, tangible way with the love and mercy of God in Jesus Christ.  Stephen Ministers and those for whom they care look to Christ as the source of all hope, healing and renewal.  Stephen Ministers are trained to use the tools of the Christian faith--the Bible, prayer, witness and blessing--as they care for the needs of people.  While Stephen Ministers have access to and can refer people to professional caregivers they are not social workers or therapists, but rather people who listen and share the love of Christ with others.  For more information on the Stephen Ministry program or to be put in contact with a Stephen Minister, contact Rev. Chris Hayes.
