    Third Grade Bibles

    One of the special milestones in the faith journey of our children is receiving their very own Bible! On Sunday, October 18, we will celebrate our third graders with a Third Grade Bible Presentation during both our 9:00 AM Traditional and 11:11 AM Contemporary worship services.

    Families of third graders are invited to sign up HERE for their child to receive a Bible as we celebrate this meaningful step in helping them grow in faith, explore God’s Word, and make it their own.

    Please register your third grader HERE by October 4 so we can have a Bible ready especially for them.

    We can’t wait to celebrate this special moment with our third graders and their families!

    School Lunch

    Pastor Stella would love to come visit your kids at school and join them for lunch! It’s a fun opportunity for her to connect with our FUMC Colleyville kids during their school day and she’ll even bring Chick-fil-A to make lunchtime extra special!

    If your child would like Pastor Stella to join them for lunch, use the link HERE to let her know you’re interested. Stella will reach out to coordinate a day in September or October that works with your child’s school and lunch schedule.

    We love finding ways to remind our kids that their church family is cheering them on wherever they are, even in the school cafeteria!

    Kids Art Show

    In children’s Sunday School, FUMCC’s kids have been learning about how we are all masterpieces, uniquely created by God. Alongside that, they’ve been making some amazing artwork and we can’t wait to show it off. 

    You’re invited to our Kid’s Art Show on Sunday September 20, from 10:30-11 in the church children’s wing.  The kids can’t wait to show you what they’ve been working on!

    Coats Against the Cold

    It may not feel like it outdoors, but before you know it, fall and winter will be here. As in the past, the United Methodist Men are kicking off their 14th Annual Coats Against the Cold Mission. The goal of this mission is to provide the Right Coat in the Right Place at the Right Time.You have been so generous in past years, we are praying that you will continue to support this critical mission.

    Last year, we collected nearly $3,000 in donations that went for the purchase of coats. Together with those funds and donations of items, we distributed a total of 1230 cold weather items of which 817 were coats. Coats were distributed to our various partners and missions: Northside Inter-Community Agency (NICA), United Gospel Mission (UGM) St. Paul UMC, Dove Elementary, Grapevine High School, GRACE and finally our own Helping Hands mission. Our goal is to surpass those numbers. The need is even greater than last year.

    You can bring donations of men’s, women’s or children’s new or gently used coats, sweaters, sweatshirts, gloves, or hats to the collection area at the church, on the landing by the elevator. You can also make a financial donation to support this effort by writing a check, through your regular electronic giving method or by clicking HERE; just make sure to note the gift is for Coats Against the Cold.

    All 3rd–5th graders are invited to join us for SPARKS on Sunday, September 20 from 4:30–6:30pm in the Lighthouse Youth Building. We’ll enjoy a fun evening of activities and dinner together. Bring your energy, bring your friends, and get ready for a night that will spark your faith and friendship! No advance sign up needed!

    Join us for FUMC Colleyville’s Annual Holiday Extravaganza!

    Kick off the holiday season at our Holiday Extravaganza, filled with festive fun for the whole family! Enjoy mouthwatering barbecue, a sweet and savory bake sale, a silent auction, and a one-of-a-kind craft fair showcasing handmade treasures.

    Need some kid-free shopping time? Our Children’s Room will be open from 12:00 pm – 3:00 pm, hosted by our Pastor for Families, so you can browse and bid at your leisure.

    Free parking available on-site.

    We’ll have more than 100 items at the in-person silent auction during Holiday Extravaganza Saturday. Auction tables will close at various times between 12:15 pm and 3:00 pm. Bidding ends at 3:00 pm on Saturday, November 14th.

    All proceeds from the auction and the Holiday Extravaganza directly support our church’s missions and ministries. Come celebrate the season, find unique gifts, and make lasting memories at this year’s Holiday Extravaganza!

    Back to School Block Party

    School is back, and we’re celebrating with an afternoon of food, fun, and community! Join us Sunday, September 13 at 12:30 PM for our Back to School Block Party at FUMC Colleyville.

    We’ll have a FREE lunch with Frito pie, hot dogs, Rita’s Italian Ice and more, plus inflatables, balloon animals and our annual bubble foam party for kids and youth!

    Bring your family, invite your neighbors and come enjoy an afternoon together. Everyone is welcome and we’d love to celebrate with our community!

    Neighborhood Table

    Neighborhood Table is back!  Join us for dinner in the Event Center the second Wednesday of each month.  You’ll enjoy a delicious meal and fellowship with friends all while supporting missions!

    Make plans to join us on Wednesday September 9 at 6pm for a delicious meal hosted by the Sager Brown Mission Team and the Gospel and Open Door Sunday School classes.   Since it’s still so hot outside, they are planning a delicious cool dinner of sandwiches, different salads, and dessert.  Your dinner donation of $7 per person or $20 per family of three or more will support our Sager Brown mission trip and the staff at Sager Brown Depot.
