    Join us for FUMC Colleyville’s Annual Holiday Extravaganza!

    Kick off the holiday season at our Holiday Extravaganza, filled with festive fun for the whole family! Enjoy mouthwatering barbecue, a sweet and savory bake sale, a silent auction, and a one-of-a-kind craft fair showcasing handmade treasures.

    Need some kid-free shopping time? Our Children’s Room will be open from 12:00 pm – 3:00 pm, hosted by our Pastor for Families, so you can browse and bid at your leisure.

    Free parking available on-site.

    We’ll have more than 100 items at the in-person silent auction during Holiday Extravaganza Saturday. Auction tables will close at various times between 12:15 pm and 3:00 pm. Bidding ends at 3:00 pm on Saturday, November 14th.

    All proceeds from the auction and the Holiday Extravaganza directly support our church’s missions and ministries. Come celebrate the season, find unique gifts, and make lasting memories at this year’s Holiday Extravaganza!

    School is back, and we’re celebrating with an afternoon of food, fun, and community! Join us Sunday, September 13 at 12:30 PM for our Back to School Block Party at FUMC Colleyville.

    We’ll have a FREE lunch with Frito pie, hot dogs, Rita’s Italian Ice and more, plus inflatables, balloon animals and our annual bubble foam party for kids and youth!

    Bring your family, invite your neighbors and come enjoy an afternoon together. Everyone is welcome and we’d love to celebrate with our community!

    Seasons of Faith

    No matter what season of life we find ourselves in, God is with us. This fall, women from United Methodist churches across the Mid-Cities are invited to come together for Seasons of Faith, a special Bible study and retreat exploring how we can recognize God’s presence and faithfulness through every season of our lives.

    Our journey will be led by Rev Anne-Marie Berg, Rev Sarah Garza, and Rev Faiana Prescott-Funaki and will begin with two Monday evening gatherings. Each evening will include a light meal, fellowship, Bible study, and meaningful conversation.

    We’ll then come together for a full-day retreat:

    Saturday, September 26 | 9:00 AM–4:00 PM

    Through worship, teaching, and time together, we’ll explore the different seasons of faith and discover where God shows up. The retreat will include breakfast, lunch, two amazing breakout sessions, and plenty of fun along the way.

    Whether you are in a season of joy and growth, waiting and uncertainty, change or new beginnings, there is a place for you in this conversation.  Participating in the Monday Bible studies is free; there is a $50 charge for the retreat to cover meals and supplies. But don’t let cost be a barrier to participating – there are scholarships available

    Come for the Bible studies, the retreat, or join us for all three! We hope you’ll take this opportunity to step away from the busyness of everyday life, connect with women from across our United Methodist community, and be reminded that whatever the season, God is with us.

    Want to make a difference in our community and help a child discover the joy of reading? Our Project Read program at Glenhope Elementary may be the perfect fit!

    In past years, the principal has shared how our FUMCC volunteers —faithfully reading with students, many facing real challenges— have made a powerful impact on their success.

    As a Project Read volunteer, you’ll be paired with a student for just 30 minutes a week during school hours, October through May. One-on-one time, one simple commitment makes for big results in a child’s life.
