    Summer Sunday

    Summer Sunday is September 7 from 12:15–2:00pm in the church Event Center, and you won’t want to miss it! We’ll share a free lunch together, let the kids celebrate with an inflatable obstacle course and bubble party and wrap it up with sweet treats.

    It’s the perfect way to celebrate the end of summer and connect with friends.  All are welcome so make plans to invite a friend and join us for the fun.  We can’t wait to see you there!

    Women’s Retreat

    FUMC Colleyville and Martin UMC are hosting a women’s retreat full of worship, fellowship, and friendship.  Rev. Stacey Piyakhun, Director of Multiplication with the Horizon Texas Conference, will lead us through powerful sessions on the gift of friendship—how it refreshes the soul, strengthens our walk with Christ, and deepens our bonds in faith.

    We’ll gather in the evening on Friday, September 12 at Martin UMC, and come back on Saturday September 13 at FUMC Colleyville for inspiring music, workshops to choose from, and plenty of sweet treats to keep the joy overflowing.

    The cost of the retreat is $60 per person and includes dinner Friday, plus breakfast and lunch Saturday. Don’t let cost be a barrier to attending—just request a scholarship when you sign up.

    Confirmation

    Confirmation is a meaningful milestone where students take the next step in their faith journey. Confirmation classes are Sundays at 10am and begin September 7. Confirmation is open to students entering 6th grade or older students who haven’t been through confirmation yet.

    We will hold two confirmation orientation sessions on August 24 or 31 at 10am. Click HERE to sign up your kids for confirmation, or plan to attend one of the orientation sessions to get all of your questions answered.

    Special Needs Adult Sunday School Class

    We’re excited to announce the launch of a new Sunday School class designed for adults with intellectual and developmental challenges. This welcoming and supportive class will offer a meaningful opportunity to explore faith and learn more about the Bible.

    Starting June 1, the class will meet every Sunday from 10:15 to 11:00 a.m. in the Searchlight Center meeting room, located in the Lighthouse Youth Building.

    We look forward to growing in faith together and welcome anyone who would benefit from this special time of learning and connection.
