    Join the Bishop and other Horizon Texas Conference United Methodists at Globe Life Field on Saturday, July 19, at 6:05 p.m. as our Texas Rangers take on the Detroit Tigers! Several sections are reserved to ensure plenty of space for everyone to sit together. Click HERE to purchase tickets 

    And FUMCC Youth are invited to go as a group for an evening of baseball, fellowship, and fun — we’ll cover their tickets! Anyone who wants to carpool can meet at the church. Youth sign up HERE. Adults who are willing to help drive or chaperone can sign up HERE as well—we’ll cover your ticket too as a thank you!

    Summer Women’s Bible Study

    Step into something meaningful – Summer Women’s Bible Study is just around the corner.  Join us for a 4-week dive into the Psalms—a sacred collection of praise, lament, and hope. Together, we’ll explore the raw emotions and deep truths found in these ancient songs, discovering how they speak into our modern lives with honesty, beauty, and faith. This study invites women of all ages to grow closer to God and to each other through Scripture, prayer, and heartfelt conversation. Come ready to dive deep and be refreshed.

    This Bible Study is 4 sessions, and will meet Sundays, July 13th – August 3rd from 4:30-6pm. This Bible Study will be a hybrid format, which means you can participate in-person or online via Zoom. Those who meet in person will gather in FL204 at the church.

    Summer Book Club

    Summer is the perfect time to curl up in your favorite lawn chair on the porch or on a chaise lounge by the pool and read a good book! 

    In June, join us in reading, “The Art of Pilgrimage: The Seeker’s Guide to Making Travel Sacred” by Phil Cousineau.  This book is a guide to mindful, spiritual travel that inspires seeing the sacred in every journey.  This book club will meet in person at the church on Wednesday June 18th, from 6-7:30pm, led by Pastor Mike in the Bassett Conference Room.

    In July, we’ll read “A Faith of Many Rooms” by Debie Thomas which explores how Christianity can embrace a faith that offers more room for diverse perspectives and experiences. Led by Pastor Anne-Marie, this book club will meet Wednesday, July 16 from 6-7:30 PM.

    Special Needs Adult Sunday School Class

    We’re excited to announce the launch of a new Sunday School class designed for adults with intellectual and developmental challenges. This welcoming and supportive class will offer a meaningful opportunity to explore faith and learn more about the Bible.

    Starting June 1, the class will meet every Sunday from 10:15 to 11:00 a.m. in the Searchlight Center meeting room, located in the Lighthouse Youth Building.

    We look forward to growing in faith together and welcome anyone who would benefit from this special time of learning and connection.

    VBS is coming — and you’re invited!

    Get ready for four epic mornings of fun, faith, and friendship at FUMC Colleyville’s Vacation Bible School, happening July 21–24, 9am to noon!

    This year’s theme is Live it Out — we’ll dive into what it really means to love like Jesus! From exciting games and awesome crafts to upbeat music and meaningful stories, every day will be packed with adventure and heart.

    VBS is open to children ages 4 through those entering 6th grade.
