    Confirmation Information

    Confirmation is a meaningful milestone where students take the next step in their faith journey. Confirmation classes are Sundays at 10am and begin August 16. Confirmation is open to students entering 6th grade or older students who haven’t been through confirmation yet. 

    We will have a Confirmation Orientation for Confirmands and their Parents / Guardians that will cover the full process on August 9th at 10:15am in the FUMC Colleyville Youth Building. Click HERE to sign up your kids for confirmation or plan to attend one of the orientation sessions to get all your questions answered.

    Backpack Blessing

    Whether you’re starting kindergarten or heading off to college, bring your backpack to church on Sunday, August 9 for a special moment of prayer and encouragement as the new school year begins.  Teachers and school staff—we see you too! Bring your work bag and receive a blessing for the important year ahead. 

    Let’s kick off the school year surrounded by love, support, and a whole lot of prayer!

    Summer Book Clubs

    This summer, we have book clubs for everyone! For three Sundays, we’ll meet 4:30-6pm for book club followed by dinner together after.

    • For adults, we’re diving into the book “Chasing Francis” by Ian Morgan Cron with Pastor Marcus.
    • Pastor Stella will be leading a children’s book club for kids 3rd through 5th grade.
    • Pastor Anne-Marie will share story and craft time with kids Pre-K through 2nd grade.
    • The nursery will be open for our littlest friends
    • The youth will have a fun activity at the church on 7/26, they are celebrating the end of summer with a pool party on 8/2, and they will get in on the book club fun with their own study at the church on 8/9.

    And everyone participating in the studies will come together at 6pm for dinner at the church each of these Sunday nights. Sign up for any of the book clubs HERE.

    Young at Heart Summer Lunches

    During the summer months, Young at Heart will enjoy fellowship over lunch at local restaurants instead of meeting at the church. Mark your calendars now so you won’t miss them – lunch is the last Wednesday of each month!

    This month, all seniors are invited to join Young at Heart for lunch at Ahoyama (304 Grapevine Hwy in Hurst) at 11:30am on Wednesday June 24.
