    Confirmation

    Confirmation is a meaningful milestone where students take the next step in their faith journey. Confirmation classes are Sundays at 10am and begin September 7. Confirmation is open to students entering 6th grade or older students who haven’t been through confirmation yet.

    We will hold two confirmation orientation sessions on August 24 or 31 at 10am. Click HERE to sign up your kids for confirmation, or plan to attend one of the orientation sessions to get all of your questions answered.

    Kids (and their parents) are invited to join in the fun at this indoor trampoline park!  We’ll meet on August 7th at 10 am at Ninja Kids, 8800 North Tarrant Parkway, North Richland Hills! 

    And then, join us afterwards for lunch at McDonalds, 8549 David Blvd.

    Lunch and Ninja Kids are on us so come and party!

    This is not a drop off event so parents please stay at both locations.

    Backpack Blessing

    Whether you’re starting kindergarten or heading off to college, bring your backpack to church on Sunday, August 10 for a special moment of prayer and encouragement as the new school year begins.  Teachers and school staff—we see you too! Bring your work bag and receive a blessing for the important year ahead. 

    And for kids that are entering third and fourth grade, we’d love to present them with a bible and a special prayer from the Pastors at Backpack Sunday.  Parents, you can sign up your kids for the Bible presentation HERE.

    Let’s kick off the school year surrounded by love, support, and a whole lot of prayer!

    Join the Bishop and other Horizon Texas Conference United Methodists at Globe Life Field on Saturday, July 19, at 6:05 p.m. as our Texas Rangers take on the Detroit Tigers! Several sections are reserved to ensure plenty of space for everyone to sit together. Click HERE to purchase tickets 

    And FUMCC Youth are invited to go as a group for an evening of baseball, fellowship, and fun — we’ll cover their tickets! Anyone who wants to carpool can meet at the church. Youth sign up HERE. Adults who are willing to help drive or chaperone can sign up HERE as well—we’ll cover your ticket too as a thank you!

    Inclusive Seminar

    We believe that every person, regardless of ability, is a beloved child of God and should feel welcome in our church.  Join us on Sunday June 29 at 10:10am in the sanctuary for a seminar that will help us learn practical ways to interact with and support people with disabilities.  Together, we’ll explore how to make our worship, classrooms, and community spaces more inclusive.

    We’re excited to welcome Karine Tonnu, a Board Certified Behavior Analyst from Phoenix ABA Services in Keller, TX, who will lead us in this important conversation.

    Join us as we continue to grow into a church that not only welcomes everyone, but truly values and embraces them.

    Youth Mission Trip

    Youth are heading to Sager Brown! Sager Brown Depot is a key component of The United Methodist Committee on Relief’s outreach to the world. This organization is responsible for the compiling and shipping of desperately needed materials to folks facing disaster across the country. 

    June 22nd-June 27th, the Youth are joining the Sager Brown team! We will depart from FUMC Colleyville to Baldwin, Louisiana on Sunday, June 22nd. We will join in the work at the depot from Monday through Thursday, and we’ll return home Friday, June 27th!
