Join us in the Lighthouse Youth Building on Saturday, October 17, from 9–11 a.m. as we pack maternity kits for mothers in Malawi. These kits provide lifesaving supplies for safe, clean deliveries. We’ll provide all supplies and morning refreshments—just bring your helping hands. Sign up HERE
Make plans to join us in the Event Center on Wednesday October 14 at 6pm for a delicious Neighborhood Table meal hosted by United Methodist Women. You won’t want to miss out on their famous pot roast and all the sides! Your dinner donation of $8 per person or $22 per family of three or more will support FUMC Colleyville’s youth dinners and Helping Hands fund.
It’s time for FUMC Colleyville’s annual Trick or Treat Party! This free, family-friendly event includes hot dogs and popcorn, cookie decorating, games, a treat walk and so much trick or treating!
Join us from 5-7pm on Sunday, October 25 in the church Event Center. Costumes not required but we’d love to see your creative costumes and best Halloween style!
Lace up your sneakers and join the FUMC Colleyville team for the Walk to End Alzheimer’s on Saturday, October 24 in Grapevine! The 2-mile walk kicks off at 9:30 AM.
No fundraising required—just come, walk, and show your support in the fight against Alzheimer’s.

It may not feel like it outdoors, but before you know it, fall and winter will be here. As in the past, the United Methodist Men are kicking off their 14th Annual Coats Against the Cold Mission. The goal of this mission is to provide the Right Coat in the Right Place at the Right Time.You have been so generous in past years, we are praying that you will continue to support this critical mission.
Last year, we collected nearly $3,000 in donations that went for the purchase of coats. Together with those funds and donations of items, we distributed a total of 1230 cold weather items of which 817 were coats. Coats were distributed to our various partners and missions: Northside Inter-Community Agency (NICA), United Gospel Mission (UGM) St. Paul UMC, Dove Elementary, Grapevine High School, GRACE and finally our own Helping Hands mission. Our goal is to surpass those numbers. The need is even greater than last year.
You can bring donations of men’s, women’s or children’s new or gently used coats, sweaters, sweatshirts, gloves, or hats to the collection area at the church, on the landing by the elevator. You can also make a financial donation to support this effort by writing a check, through your regular electronic giving method or by clicking HERE; just make sure to note the gift is for Coats Against the Cold.
