Community Awareness Workshop: Let’s Talk Dementia (9/30/2021)

Dementia is a growing concern in our society, and it is a disease that touches nearly every family. Join us for a workshop on dementia on September 30, 2021 to learn what dementia is, what it is like to walk in the shoes of someone with dementia, and how to support and communicate with someone with dementia. Speakers include TCU Nursing Professor, Dr. Michelle Kimzey, and Jim McLarty, a man who has dementia, and his wife, Nancy McLarty. This event will be in the sanctuary, and it will also be live streamed through the church Facebook page and website. This event is sponsored by our Young at Heart ministry.
