Confirmation

The time for Confirmation is almost upon us! Confirmation is a great opportunity for a child to take the faith we all have helped grow them in and to make it their own. It is their chance to confirm that they want to live out the vows of their Baptismal covenant. We also welcome them to bring their friends to learn and grow alongside them.

We will have a Confirmation Orientation for Confirmands and their Parents / Guardians that will cover the full process on August 20 at 10:00 AM at the FUMC Colleyville Youth Building. Confirmation itself will start on September 10 and run weekly till November 19. Confirmation will conclude with Confirmation Sunday which will be on December 3 this year. In addition to the normal classes, we will also have a couple of field trips, a service project, and a Confirmation Retreat Evening during our time together as well. There will be more information on those events on August 20.
